Experimental Comparative Study of Conventional Concrete and Waste Ceramic Powder Incorporated Concrete
Concrete is one of the most widely used construction materials in civil engineering. However, the increasing generation of industrial and construction waste has created environmental concerns. Waste ceramic materials can potentially be recycled and used as an alternative material in concrete production. This research aims to compare the strength performance of conventional concrete with concrete containing waste ceramic powder. Ceramic waste will be collected, crushed, and processed into powder before being incorporated into the concrete mixture. Concrete specimens will then be tested, particularly for compressive strength. The study will determine whether waste ceramic powder improves, maintains, or reduces the strength of conventional concrete. The findings may contribute to sustainable construction by promoting the recycling and reuse of ceramic waste while reducing environmental pollution and dependence on conventional materials.
